La Tasteggiata

The musicians of La Tasteggiata are internationally renowned soloists. They perform on instruments which were well-known and loved in the Baroque period, yet are seldom heard today: the hurdy gurdy (French vielle), one of the favourite instruments of the wife of Louis XV, the nyckelharpa, which was widespread from Italy to Scandinavia, and the harpsichord, organ and organetto.  All of these instruments are played by keys and exist in their early versions since the Middle Ages.

As special guests, the Estonian kannel and other instruments are added to some concert programmes.

Die Mitglieder des Ensembles sind international geschätzte Solistinnen und Solisten. Sie spielen auf heutzutage eher selten gehörten Instrumenten, die aber in der Zeit des Barock durchaus bekannt und beliebt waren: Drehleier (französisch vielle), eines der Lieblingsinstrumente von der Gemahlin von Louis XV, Schlüsselfidel (Nyckelharpa), die von Italien bis nach Skandinavien verbreitet war, und Cembalo bzw. Orgel und Organetto.

Alle diese Instrumente werden mittels Tasten gespielt und existieren in ihren frühen Versionen seit dem Mittelalter.

Als special guests kommen bei manchen Konzertprogrammen noch das estnische Kannel und andere Instrumente hinzu.

I musicisti dell'ensemble sono solisti di fama internazionale. Suonano strumenti che erano ben noti e amati nel periodo barocco: la ghironda, uno degli strumenti preferiti dalla consorte di Luigi XV, la nyckelharpa (viola d'amore a chiavi) diffusa dall'Italia alla Scandinavia, il clavicembalo, l'organo e l'organetto portativo.

Tutti questi strumenti vengono suonati tramite tasti ed esistono in diverse tipologie fin dal Medioevo.

Come ospiti speciali, in alcuni programmi concertistici si aggiungono alla formazione il kannel estone ed altri strumenti.

Les musiciens de La Tasteggiata sont des solistes de renommée internationale. Ils jouent sur des instruments bien connus et appréciés à l’époque baroque, mais qui sont rarement entendus aujourd'hui : la vielle à roue, l'un des instruments préférés de l'épouse de Louis XV, la nyckelharpa, qui était répandue de l’Italie à la Scandinavie, ainsi que le clavecin, l'orgue et l’organetto. Tous ces instruments sont à clavier et existent dans leurs premières versions depuis le Moyen Âge.

En tant qu'invités spéciaux, le kannel estonien et d'autres instruments seront ajoutés à certains programmes de concert.
